Monty's Market

This is a freelance branding project I did in the remote mountain town of Almont, Colorado. Monty's Market is a small bodega-style convenience store that serves as the only grocer, hardware store, and outdoor outfitter in this remote area famous for it's coveted fly fishing spots. The market needed a logo, window decal, price tags, commemorative stickers, and employee uniforms. Locals in the area are familiar with two animal unlikely animal pals, a small black bear affectionately named Monty, and a red squirrel named Al. The company wanted to incorporate these two local celebrities in their logo. The logo features Al and Monty kicking back and fly fishing next to a summer camp-style custom font to encapsulate the ambiance of this nature-rich area.
